Answer:
Title: The Treasure in the Field
An old farmer lived in a village with his four sons. The sons were strong and healthy, but they were lazy and did not like to work. The farmer was very worried about their future.
One day, the farmer fell seriously ill and knew that his end was near. He called his four sons to his bedside. In a weak voice, he told them that a great treasure was buried somewhere in their long-neglected fields. He advised them to dig the fields well to find it. After saying this, his breath failed and he died.
After the farmer’s death, the sons became very eager to find the treasure. They went to the fields and dug every part of the land deeply. They worked very hard for many days, but they found no gold or silver. Soon the rainy season came. Since the land was already well dug, they decided to sow seeds.
After some months, the crops grew well and there was a rich harvest. The sons sold the crops and earned a large amount of money. Then they understood what their father meant by treasure. The real treasure was the reward of hard work.
Thus, the lazy sons learned the value of labour and lived happily thereafter.
Moral of the Story:
Hard work is the real treasure and always brings success.
