Dearest Friend,
I hope you are doing well. I received your letter yesterday, and it was great to hear from you. You asked about my studies, so I wanted to give you an update on my preparation for the upcoming examinations.
Since taking admission for my Higher Secondary 1st year at Handique Girls' College, my schedule has become quite rigorous. I am balancing my college classes with the responsibilities of running my home tuition center, 'Gyaan Kunja Tuition centre'. Teaching my students actually helps me stay sharp with my own subjects, especially in Social Science and English.
My preparation is going smoothly, and I have a solid routine in place:
English and Grammar: I am focusing heavily on this area, as I am also currently writing a book titled "English Grammar for Assamese medium students". Practicing spoken English regularly has also boosted my confidence for the oral assessments.
Technical Subjects: Since I have a keen interest in web development, I often apply logic from PHP and Laravel to help me understand complex structures in my other subjects.
Resource Management: I use my own blog to organize and review study materials, including solved question papers from previous years and MCQ banks for various chapters.
Personal Projects: I am still working on my Assamese text-to-speech project using Python, which serves as a great practical application of my computer science curriculum.
When I feel a bit overwhelmed, I take short breaks to watch some funny reels on my phone or enjoy a cup of coffee with milk and a little sugar to recharge. My mother has been very supportive throughout this busy period, ensuring I stay focused and healthy.
I feel confident about the exams, but I am making sure not to leave any stone unturned. How is your preparation going? I would love to hear about your progress and any study tips you might have.
Let’s catch up properly once the exams are over. Until then, keep working hard!
Warm regards,
Pinky
